Coral Gables
Coral Gables is the home of the University of Miami, and so much more. The public school system in Coral Gables is outstanding, and a great place for families to send their children to school.
The homes in this area lean toward the higher end of the price spectrum, but are surrounded and amenities that go a long way toward justifying the high price tags.
For example, the Miracle Mile shopping district is home to upscale retail, dining and entertainment options. The Venetian Pool, one of the area’s most popular attractions, is both beautiful and functional – an aquifer-fed 820,000 gallon swimming hole built directly into a coral rock quarry.
Downtown Miami
When you move to Miami, you should bring your high heels, but bring your walking shoes too. Downtown Miami offers a host of entertainment options that are walkable and easily accessible.
And, if you’re not in the mood for walking, the city has also made hefty investments in transportation infrastructures, including the Miami Metrorail and the Metromover.
The city’s downtown center features a mixture of modern and historical architecture, so you can find a home that’s ideal for your aesthetic and lifestyle, whether you love reimagined loft spaces or soaring hi-rise apartments.
Wynwood
Wynwood has been called an “art exhibit at city scale” where every wall is blazoned with murals and street art.
The area’s visionary leaders encouraged a laissez faire approach to art. Their approach redounded to their credit as the area has become Miami’s most thriving art district.
Wynwood is home to galleries, museums, breweries and more. It’s an area that feels alive, ever-evolving and ever-improving.
Get to know Wynwood through a Second Saturday Art Walk. Or even better, fall in love with the area by spending a few weekend afternoons whiling the day away at one of the many craft breweries – local favorites include Wynwood Brewing Company and Veza Sur Miami.
South Beach
This is the Miami single people swoon over – the area the rich and famous call home, and the one where the stylish and glamorous gather.
South Beach is a haven for singles who want to enjoy the city’s thriving nightlife. And, if you’re looking for a moment of quiet ambiance accompanied by an unforgettable meal, take a moment to visit Española Way to sample a wide range of culinary delights and provide a feast for all your senses.
Foodies will also rejoice over visits to SoFi where there’s seemingly a newer and buzzier restaurant on every corner. When it comes to food, there are plenty of classic steakhouses, as well as more unique concepts like Lilikoi Organic Living for organically sourced sandwiches, salads and wraps.
Oh, also, as you may have guessed from the name, South Beach’s homes and attractions are also just minutes away from beachy beauty.
Kendall
Located slightly south of Miami, Kendall has a suburban feel but still offers plenty to see, do and eat. The area is well-known for the Dadeland Mall, and also boasts golf courses, skating rinks, and a strong public school system.
Kendall provides an ideal community for growing families who want to settle down and build community with like-minded neighbors.

One thing’s for certain though – you’ll never be bored when you move to the Miami area. The city is home to more than 150 public parks, a wide variety of museums and public art installations, and more high-quality restaurants and coffee shops than you could frequent in the course of a year (or several!).
